Over 80 Volunteers Join Forces in Duboviazivka, Sumy Region to Make Their Community Cleaner

On Environmental Day, a community clean-up took place in the village of Duboviazivka, Sumy region, organized by volunteers of the Fishermen Club of Ukraine NGO to clean and restore spaces important for everyday community life.

More than 80 volunteers from the Fishermen Club of Ukraine NGO joined the effort, working together to clean and restore the local pond and the stadium — places where community members spend quality time with their families, relax, and organize local events.

These spaces play an important role in community life, directly impacting the comfort and quality of everyday living. That is why the clean-up initiative became not only an environmental action, but also a demonstration of shared responsibility for the surrounding environment.

Such initiatives go beyond cleanliness — they help build a culture of care for the environment. Every decision not to litter, to take part in clean-up efforts, or to support the community contributes to a more responsible and engaged society.
